The Democratic Committee of Green Tree is always committed to shaping the future:
From grassroots efforts helping to benefit our community, canvasing and volunteering for state-wide and national campaigns, to endorsing and supporting Democratic candidates working to make sure everyone in our community, region, state, and country is welcome.

Shannon Barron, Janice Adamski, Deborah Demme, and Alexis Pierce--Democratic Endorsed Candidates for Green Tree Borough Council 2025. Endorsed Candidates joined in volunteering and organizing a food drive to benefit local food banks.

In March 2025, $500 million in deliveries to food banks were cut. The Green Tree Democratic Committee and their endorsed Candidates for Green Tree Borough Council organized a food drive that will directly benefit local food pantries thanks to the kind and generous Green Tree Community.

In March 2025, candidates seeking Democratic Endorsement for the Court of Common Pleas visited Green Tree and discussed their platforms, goals, and reasons for running before the County-wide endorsement vote.

Committee Members organized a winter clothing drive for new coats and gear. With generous donations from our community, coats were donated to the Keystone Oaks School District, through direct outreach with the Homeless, and women and children's shelters.

As part of their duties serving on the Committee, members volunteer for national elections. In October 2024, Committee members canvased for the Harris/Walz campaign in Green Tree and surrounding neighborhoods.
